I think the whole purpose is to not succumb to other people’s idea of you. Or to mould into what they see you as. People can say a lot about what kind of person you are but at the end of the day, it’s who you truly are that matters. Growing up, I have been instilled with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Never once did my parents told me to be unkind even as I witness the cruelties of the world.

So I decided to be someone who loves despite being hurt and someone who’s kind even when I’m treated unfairly. It’s very easy to feel stupid and weak but I know for a fact that in tough times, my character can be seen as a strength. I know... that sometimes it’s easy for people to step over me. I am not enabling them to do so but if they managed to, then so be it. My purpose would be to give my love and care for others no matter the outcome.

Sometimes... it hurts, I can’t deny that. But that’s ok. Someday, there will be reward for all these though I shouldn’t be expecting it. After all, your intentions in doing something should be for the sake of Allah swt and not the satisfaction of doing it. May He always put my intentions in the right place.
