What happens when you’ve seen too much?

It’s so funny how some people question why people avoid them but then fail to look at themselves. It’s not that I don’t have self-respect but in order to live in this world, we should not treat ourselves too seriously. Maybe it’s more than self-love and just thinking about yourselves. What if it’s all about trying to understand and accept that people are just the way they are? You’ll think my view of this world is too optimistic but I know that deep down, it is really cruel in the way it treats people. But you have to remember that all this creation is by Allah swt, the Most Just. When you know of His attributes, you’ll know that this life is really just temporary and there’s nothing to be taken seriously of. Be thankful that we are given the chance to make right every single day and be grateful that we are given this gift even when we don’t deserve it. We deserve nothing but His love and mercy, and if He wills, He will guide us to the most righteous path.

I’m not trying to be holier than thou but all I want is to be a better person. Maybe this goal in life is to not be liked by people. It is to keep doing what you’re doing and leaving a positive note in people’s heart. They forget you. They will. But He knows and He remembers everything, masyaAllah. Some day I will find my comfort in someone that He has sent for me. Allah swt knows more than I do in my intentions.

Maybe tomorrow, I’ll find my way home.
